According to the Privacy Guarantor, non-profit organizations will be able to receive from the Revenue Agency the names of taxpayers who have allocated 5 per thousand of the Irpef to them. But a rule of law is needed: "any legislative intervention could ... be considered substantially compliant with data protection regulations, without prejudice to the need for the Authority to be formally consulted in the legislative session with a formal questioning ... on the basis of a regulatory text fully defined".
