The social interest of the general interest activities of the ETS: clarifications from the Ministry
Article 5 of the Code of the Third Sector, in declining the activities of general interest, provides, with regard to some of them, a specific qualifying element: the social interest. The following are considered to be of general interest "cultural activities of social interest" (letter d); "scientific research of particular social interest" (point h); the "organisation and management of cultural, artistic and recreational activities of social interest" (letter i); "the organization and management of tourist activities of social interest" (letter k).
The Ministry of Labour has asked the National Council of the Third Sector to express a qualified opinion on the subject, annexed to Note No. 11379 of 4 August 2022.
